This unit is a Dual Head meaning that it runs two monitors at the same time. the Solid Impact card is in the top spot and the High impact occupy the other two slots |
The SGI indigo2 impact was the third indigo that SGI released, the Indigo was a Tower system and the Indigo2 was a Teal Desktop system when SGI revamped their graphics cards they named them the Impact series there was the base "Solid Impact" and then the "High Impact" and the top of the line the Extreme Impact. the Solid occupied 1 slot and the High occupied 2 slots and the Maximum occupied 3 slots. the easiest way to tell the impact from the non impact is the color.. non impact systems were Teal and the Impact systems were purple. |
